Hello Parents!

This email contains a LOT of information, so please read thoroughly.  

June 3rd Meet @ Birkdale

Location: Birkdale 8519 Devonshire Dr., Huntersville, NC 28078

Parking (see attached map)
PARKING at Birkdale will be dicey! Please bring your patience. Please feel free to drop swimmers, chairs & supplies at the pool then return. If you plan to drive, please note the parking signs on the street for where to park and where not park.

**These are the two biggest teams in the league, plan accordingly.  

Warm Ups

Cowans – Warm up 5:25 – 5:50

**Please make sure all swimmers arrive by 5:00PM to ensure you can park, get set up and your swimmer will be ready to begin warm-ups promptly!!

Swimmers (see attached)
Please mark your swimmers: event – heat – lane AND swimmer names on their backs! **Please note, we have an event 0, for the 6u mixed free relay. This is not a mistake, please mark your swimmer accordingly.

Deck (see attached map)
Birkdale will have parents with swimmers set up area that starts at the club house fireplace and around the splash pad area. Feel free to set up tents / chairs, coolers etc. Please be mindful of the walking path for coaches and swimmers and do not move any ropes or chairs for this. PLEASE Do NOT set up in the splashpad.

Cowans will have parents and swimmers set up on the deck side closest to the playground.

Clerk of Course will be separate. Each Clerk will have the blue benches under the white pergola's on their team side.

Concessions
Chik-fila 8ct nuggets, Pizza by the slice, Jimmy John's subs, Chips, Soda, Candy, Water. Cash or card is accepted.

Heat Sheets & Event Sheets (see attached for marking your swimmer)
Coming soon. We will send an alert once they are emailed out, typically the morning of the meet.

Volunteers
Thank you for volunteering!!!  Check in will begin with Autumn Watson at 5:20 - 5:45PM.  She will be outside the main gate.  

If you are volunteering, please avoid adult beverages before & during your shift. Please email Autumn Watson: [email protected] immediately if you have any schedule changes.

5:45 – Timers & Stroke & Turn meeting – GATHER at STARTER TENT NEAR THE BLOCKS

5:55pm Events 0 lined up behind the block / or opposite end of pool and events 1&2 lined up in Clerk

6PM Star Spangled banner and immediately after Event 0 starts
